I Have A Confession to Make!

For a long time I was feeling angry… a sense of helplessness enveloped me. With each passing day, my intensity grew.

I was stuck. Every day, a tiny bit of control was losing its grip. Each morning, it was harder for me to get out of bed… to face the world… to be productive!

I felt like a deer trapped in the headlights…and a mac truck plowing down the road.

What would the point be?

When I turned on the computer or the TV and saw….

Unending cycle of horrible destruction.

Listen, I completely understand the old media adage…

The non-stop flow of negative stories wasn’t even the source of my feelings…

…anxiety, doom, worry… wasn’t the reason I was loosing control.

They were actually a mask for something far more serious.

It was intentionally slipped under the surface, causing…

A Bad Way Is Not Good!

If you know me personally… you know I’m a very opinionated person. I am a strong advocate for privacy and my freedoms. It’s a deep part of who I am.

And when I started to realize my values and beliefs were slowly shifting from under my feet…

My reality is a crack that has split, swallowing me whole.

I became increasingly detached from the rest of the world.

Depressed.

I was unable to recognize myself when I looked into the mirror.

You may have experienced this feeling before.

It brought back memories of a long-ago experience when my mentor was a Dark Side of Persuasion.

Pattern on me, which erased my core beliefs and values (a story for another day).

But, despite my feelings I knew one thing for sure… I needed to figure out….
